Tania EA, born in Mexico City, is a visual artist dedicated mainly to sculpture, also standing out in photography, painting and digital art. She has 20 years of experience as an artist and has dedicated the last few years to the research and experimentation in the use of wine (as an inspiration and artistic material). Considered a spiritual drink with centuries of history in each drop, wine becomes a special elixir that expresses different meanings to achieve a new transformation of wine in ART.
Esponda’s work has been exhibited in museums, institutions and independent spaces around the world and is part of important private collections, and has been exhibited at Biennials such as the XVIII RUFINO TAMAYO NATIONAL PAINTING BIENNIAL at the Rufino TAMAYO Museum as well as at international fairs in Shanghai, Europe and the USA.
In “Vinus,” her latest body of work, Esponda reflects her passion for wine and its poetic side. With each of the works, Esponda wants to transform it in a way that will allow it to last forever in ART. This devine liquid brings artworks to life, whereas is a sculpture, a photograph or a painting. “Vinus” is a selection of limited edition paintings, photographs and sculptures made WITH wine, ABOUT wine and INSPIRED BY wine.
