"Love" Ximena Kavalekas

On Friday, December 3rd of 2021, luxury handbag and accessory designer, Ximena Kavalekas, has partnered with Art Consultant, Eugenia Peralta, to bring to life a unique collaboration where fashion, art, and wine collided. Renowned Mexican artist Tania EA’s featured one of her original artworks from the Vinus Collection on a Kavalekas handbag. This one-of-a-kind accessory was unveiled with the buzz and excitement of Miami Art Week as its backdrop. The art-intervened handbag was on sale at the event.
“I’ve always believed that Fashion and Art are exciting forms of creation, building a language and sending a message,” said Ximena Kavalekas. “I’m excited from the outcome of Tania’s amazing art translated into one of my handbags”.
The event took place at Ximena Kavalekas’ store located in Miami’ s Design District .
Close to 80 guests had the opportunity to meet the designer and artist, learn more about the inspiration behind this partnership, but also take in an exhibition of Tania EA’s work, whose artworks sold successfully at the event.
“As a consultant, I have the opportunity to work with amazing artists who are able to take ordinary items and transform them into extraordinary works of art,” said Eugenia Peralta, founder of EP Art Consultant. “I am very proud of the collaboration between Ximena and Tania because it took art outside the traditional four walls and allows the owner to decorate any space they occupy, from restaurants and events, to special occasions.”
